We are very excited to have author Liz Fichera as our guest blogger today! Liz's debut novel HOOKED will be be published by Harlequin Teen on January 31st, 2013.
Here's a teaser blurb!
Sparks fly when a Native American girl with a killer golf
swing joins the all boys’ golf team at her high school and takes on the boy
with the killer smile. It’s Perfect Chemistry meets Catching Jordan with a dash of West Side Story.
HOOKED sounds fantastic, and we're looking forward to seeing it hit the shelves. Today, Liz is tackling a dare via vlog--she's going to read out loud some prose she'd written as a kid. Thanks for signing up to play truth or dare, Liz!
HOOKED is
currently available for pre-order at any bookstore. However, anyone who purchases through her
hometown bookstore, The
Poisoned Pen, will receive an autographed copy. The Poisoned Pen ships worldwide. Additionally, there is a huge pre-order
promotional contest beginning on November 1 that includes giveaways and prizes. Check Liz’s
web site for the details.

Hee. "regular dreams" FTW! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for taking the dare!
Thanks for sharing, Liz! And congrats on HOOKED getting a starred review! I'm dying to read it.
ReplyDeleteOh, see...I had no idea I needed to put in a request. I've been doing it all wrong!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping in, Liz! :)
Thanks for sharing, Liz! Childhood writing is priceless :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ladies! So glad Mom kept all those stories. And sure wish I had a Dream Machine, for realz! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, you could cut cheese on the cheek bones of that guy on the cover.
ReplyDelete*ahem*
Sorry. Got a little sidetracked. ;) Great vlog! I recently found a whole stash of my old novels. It was pretty hilarious.
I think it was a very creative story for a 10 (is that how old you said?) year old. A dream machine. So cool. I want to know what consists of a "regular" dream because I don't think my dreams are ever put to that setting. :) I also like that with the dream machine my dreams would have a narrator. I don't think my dreams have ever been narrated before. Ha.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting today, Liz! I can't wait to read your book. Like Renee said: hot...ahem...I mean great cover! :)
I love it! "OBVIOUSLY, you need to use my dream machine." That is adorable.
ReplyDeleteThat wasn't so bad! And of course you need a hat.
ReplyDeleteHey neat! This is the first blogging dare I've ever seen! Brave of you, Liz!
ReplyDeleteLiz rocks and her book sounds great, as usual!! I want a print copy ;)
