Kasie West Takes the Dare

Today's dare comes from Rachel. I thought it was an awesome idea. So thanks for submitting it, Rachel!

Next up is Megan. So don't forget to submit your truth or dares for her to pick from here!

  1. Oh, Kasie...this was a bad idea. I watched this with my boys and they now think we should do this as a regular weekend activity.

You're adorable. Thanks for making me laugh this morning! :)

    1. Tell your boys I agree. If you were a good mother, you would let them throw footballs at you. Ha!

  2. Kasie! You are crazy! But that was definitely awesome! it was great seeing you react to all the footballs thrown at you! Next time, give them all nerffootballs! they are soft and won't hurt a bit! You remind me of my husband. He tells his soccer team that if they score they get to pelt him with waterballoons. So he gets soaked at every game. ha ha!

    1. Haha! I love how you assume she'll let them do this again. ;-)

P.S. Can I join your husband's soccer team? It sounds awesome.

    2. I tried to find the Nerf ones! Oh how I tried. It must've been fate that I had to be tortured because they were all out at the store. Also, that last football that hit me in the stomach hurt! lol

And your husband is funny. I should tell my hubby that game. He coaches my son's team.

  4. HEADS UP!!!!
That was awesome. Though I agree you should have given them nerf footballs and you're just lucky they don't have Duke's aim!

    1. I know! I'm so glad no one hit me in the head. lol But did you also notice that no one gave me a warning? There was no 'heads up' for me. Those naughty children who couldn't wait to hit me. (Although when we were buying the footballs and I told my 5 year old what we were going to do with them he said, "Oh no, mommy, that will hurt. You should get the soft ones." But I don't know if you noticed his face in the video: He was the little blond with the evil/excited grin.)

  5. Ouch. But really, all I could think about is that is a lot of children.

  8. Ha! I LOVED it! A very creative dare, Rachel, and you, Kasie, were so brave to take it on - small plastic footballs or not.

  9. Great dare and super fun to watch. My kids would LOVE an opportunity to pummel me with footballs in any variety, so I'm not letting them watch this clip:) Excited for your book!

  10. Loved it! Way to take one for the team so none of your blogmates have to go through similar abuse. :)

  12. You are very brave, facing that much ammo. (I still giggled as you got pummeled, though. I couldn't help myself.)
