Elizabeth Caldwell has perfected the art of pretending to feel emotion, but it’s always a lie. After a near-fatal car accident when she was a small child, Elizabeth lost the ability to feel any emotion, but along with that loss she gained bizarre abilities: she can see the personified Emotions she cannot feel. Fury, Resentment, Longing—they’ve all given up on her, because she doesn't succumb to their touch. All, that is, save one. Fear. He’s consumed by the mystery of Elizabeth’s past, consumed by her.
And then there are Elizabeth's cryptic, recurring dreams, in which there’s always love, and there’s always death. Haunted by these dreams, Elizabeth paints them, knowing that they somehow hold the key to the mystery of her past.
But a shadowy menace is stalking Elizabeth. Her survival depends on uncovering the truth about herself. And when it matters most, she won’t be able to rely on Fear to save her.

KELSEY!! I adored this vlog. You are too funny. (And can I just say I think it's author law that you have to look like a bag lady when going to the post office? I've never looked my best while running mailing errands.) Anyway, thanks for sharing! May Bookstore Boy never see your brave confession here on Thirteeners. ;)
ReplyDeleteERIN!! Haha thanks girly. And I like that law! It makes me feel better, like I had a right to go around in public looking like that. Oh and yeah... maybe he doesn't own a computer...
DeleteOh, Kelsey... at least you were incognito that dreadful day at the post office! When you're a famous author and he's your minion, you can look back on that moment and laugh.
ReplyDeleteYes, maybe it's a good thing I decided to put on that horrendous, floppy hat. And "minion"? Yeah, I love the way you think. Heehee.
DeleteMinion, ha. Does that mean I'll get minions too? Cause that would be awesome. #jobperks
DeleteAwesome vlog! We love people who aren't afraid to throw it out there!
ReplyDeleteHaha thanks Mindy!
DeleteOh, Kelsey, you're adorable. Love this! So very cute and yes, it could've come right out of a YA novel. :) Great job with the vlog!
ReplyDelete;) Thanks girly.
DeleteSee that amazingly awkward, but adorably funny bag lady authoress lotion-licker, who has seriouz skillz with the editing? Yeah, that's my best friend. I love her, and so should book boy.
ReplyDeleteYay for vlogs! I love your checkered couch and flowered pillows by the way :) That is definitely something I would do haha. THIS BOOK! I've been eyeing this one, but I never actually realized who the author was. YAY for you! Thanks for vlogging for us! :)
ReplyDeleteWhy, thank you, Alyssa! Haha. On both counts. I spend way too much time on this couch... and of course! I can't wait for you to read SQP next summer :)
DeleteKelsey, that was so adorable! I hope book boy DOES have an internet machine, because that is the beginning of the most romantic nerd love story ever. :)
ReplyDeletelol oh my goodness I can't even imagine how I would respond if next time he was all casual and said, "So, I saw your video..."
Delete*Bolts for door*
OMG! You're beautiful and you sound like Amanda Bynes! And you can come to Canada and be awkward as much as you'd like <3
ReplyDeleteHaha aw, thanks. And that would be AWESOME.
DeleteOh, Kelsey. Nothing like this has ever happened to me. Nope. Not even once. Okay, maybe once. Or twice. Or always.
ReplyDeleteAnd, Beth! Hi :)
