Fandom Confessional With Natalie Whipple

I'm back! With my usual antics in hand—no crying like last time, I promise, even if this is another truth.

  1. Ha ha! This is great. I'm currently re-experiencing my Hunger Games fangirling with the new movie release. I'm always in at least one "fandom" all the time, and will probably continue that until I'm dead. No shame here! (I need to share your video with my sister...she would appreciate it. Her current obsession is Doctor Who.)

    1. Yay for being in more than one! I'd say I am a fan of many things and a super fan of none, heh.

  3. That was awesome. My daughter loves the story and the sarcasm. And that Fluttershy is adorable.

    1. Fluttershy IS adorable, but I love Pinkie Pie the most. Maybe because Kasie is just like her;P

  4. If it's any consolation, I'm about twice your age and a major MLP fan.

Oh, and I dearly loved "Transparent" and will be buying the follow-up.

  5. I'm a fan of Transparent! (And I'm a fan of The House of Ivy and Sorrow's cover and blurb, because that's all I can be a fan of at the moment. Soon. SOON.)
Fandoms scare me too, a little. I only recently started "fangirling" over things with my sister. We totally adore The Hunger Games and Divergent. But fandoms can be so vicious! Fans of Harry Potter and THG seem to totally bite the heads off anyone who likes Twilight. It makes me sad. And very scared. I know fans are really angry at Allegiant (I haven't read it yet), and it does make me sad. Ultimately, these characters belong to the author. Not us. This was an epic vlog!!! I usually skip vlogs, but yours are really awesome. ;)
